FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
I have the "free photos" mentality. What this means is that the cost of your session is covering my time, my talent, and editing time. Your photos are free. This means that there isn't an exact set number for how many images you'll receive. In addition to the edited photos, you'll receive another gallery of amazing photos you can purchase for release.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
5 to 14 days is what is said to be the "best" time to take newborn photos. This is because your baby is still adjusting to the outside world. After 14 days, your baby will start figuring out how to wiggle and stretch their way out of their swaddle. But don't worry, I've shot babies way past 4 weeks. Babies are babies, they're always cute #girldad
When we will receive our photos?
Anywhere from 2-4 weeks. It totally depends on how busy the "photography" season is. I spend a lot of t.l.c. on each and every photo to make sure they are absolutely perfect. If you need them sooner, let me know and I might be able to work something out.
Where is your studio located?
To keep prices low, I do not have a permanent studio space, it's like airbnb but for photography studios. Instead I use peerspace.com to book studio spaces for your unique sessions. That means we can book a studio close to you so you don't have to worry about driving far.
How should we dress for our family session?
Dress for the occasion! Families that coordinate outfits always look amazing. If you need some guidance, I can help point in the right direction with some examples.
Are there any additional charges?
There are many things that can add cost to a photoshoot: permits, parking, travel, additional time you might want, and parking tickets (jk).
These are details we will hash out beforehand in the planning process. I have an overarching permit with OCParks so you won't get billed for that. There won't be any hidden fees or surprises. Anything additional that accrues during our shoot is completely covered by me.
Are you insured?
Short answer: yes. I have a legitimate business license and am insured by Hiscox Insurance. If you have a location or venue that requires insurance, I'll gladly send it their way.
